Step by Step installing ATI Radeon XPress 200M on Toshiba Satellite A135-S2386 Notebooks
a. Download Catalyst 7.7 and install to your computer
b. I though that the vga installation will fail.
c. Locate file below:
C:\ATI\Support\7-7igp_xp32_dd_ccc_wdm_sb_gart_enu_49709\Driver\XP_INF\CX_49709.inf
edit it use notepad find the command below
“ATI MOBILITY RADEON XPRESS 200″ = ati2mtag_RS480M, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_5955
insert following command after above command :
“ATI RADEON XPRESS 200M Series ” = ati2mtag_RS480M, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_5A62&SUBSYS_FF041179
d. Ok, save the inf files.
e. Ok Go to:
Device Manager -> Display adapter -> Reinstall Driver
f. Select “Install from a list…” and click next.
g. Select “Search for the best…” and please uncheck “Search Removal media”, you have to check “includes this location in the search”, browse and locate above *.INF FILES.
h. Click next and Your Toshiba Satellite A135-S2386 will install ATI Radeon XPRESS 200M Drivers to your computer.

Hi!
Thanks for your info! Can you explain what exactly this modification does?
After modification ,is “ATI MOBILITY RADEON XPRESS 200″ driver installed instead of “ATI MOBILITY RADEON XPRESS 200M” driver or what?
And may this cause a technical problem in my graphic card(200M)?

This is awesome. The best solution I found so far. You can also download Catalyst 8.8 and do the same way. Thank you for solving this problem. Now if I can find the wi-fi driver, then I am home free.
