Most laptops are now shipping with SATA drives and it is giving most technicians as well as ordinary folks a hell of time. I now have a solution without the need for SATA drivers. If you have access to the modded version of Windows Xp Black Edition or Tiny XP, they have precompiled drivers pack for all that. If you dont have let me know how you can be send the CD plus drivers that you specify.
