My friend has just installed XP into Toshiba Satellite L300, unfortunately he ’s got webcam error problem. He found error message such as.. Webcam driver op en fail. Please restart camera or computer. Eventough, he tried to reboot the laptop but it doesn’t fixed.

My friend told me that the problem came from USB, she asked me to check on device manager, I’ve found 7 USB Root Hubs drivers problems. Actually, she asked me to uninstall all of of drivers, after uninstalling usb root hubs, click on Action and choose Scan for hardware changes. It will uninstall USB root hubs and USB video device such as Toshiba Webcam Driver.

You may need to install Webcam Assistant and it will solve your USB and Webcam problem on Toshiba Satellite L300.
