… here is short description how to activate WWAN on Lenovo Thikpads X301.
a.You may need download Verizon Access Manager from here
b. run the program
c. Once open you may need also press Ctrl + D button
d. Enter password: zeros for six times, re-enter password.
e. It may should activate your WWAN card
f. In the Tab of access manager, go to Options tab. Select activate. it will
download list of local verizon that will let you get best connection.

here is short solution: You may should download chipser intel driver from here (please make it sure your chipset and OS before download and install
it). Please uninstall previous driver and let machine using default VGA.
Install Intel driver (eventhough it seems froozen, leave it for a while) you
may need power it off and turn it on again.
