How To Run Windows 7 into MSI GT627
Many users of MSI GT627 are apprehensive about running Windows 7 on
their laptop because of aware the MSI website only provides 32-bit
Vista drivers. That’s why they thought twice about installing Windows
7 on MSI GT627. Does it right that all off built-in functions can’t
work properly while running in Win7?
Actually Windows 7 RC1 64-bit supports many drivers which MSI GT627

Latest video drivers from Nvidia
Latest HD Audio drivers from Realtek
TURBO/ECO modes now work perfectly using downloaded latest System

Win7 x64 runs absolutely beautifully on my GT627. What is great is that all the games that I have (Crysis, COD WAW, PES 2009, GRID, Burnout Paradise) run extremely smoothly, sometimes better than on vista. I can’t wait to buy Win7 in March when the RC expires.

I now have the full Windows 7 x64 Ultimate Edition running on my GT627. This was one of the smoothest installations I have ever performed and it works extremely well. This is the perfect integration of speed and simplicity delivering absolute power and control. Extremely stable even on returning from standby/hibernation. I have not found any application that won’t run (yet). Sony Vegas Movie Studio installs smoothly and works very well. The only item I can’t get to work is the Turbo/Eco facility, this is very disapointing, but wholy down to the absence of support for 64bit integration from MSI.. Come on MSI.. step up to the mark!
