For Gateway P-7811FX users who use Aqua Mac’s 9x series installer followed by EFI strings generated with OSX86Tools but it doesn’t give QE/CI support, these steps below could be fixed the problem. - Delete efi string from your com.apple.boot.plist
- Download nvinstaller v.52
- Install nvinstaller v.52 on your Gateway P-7811FX
- The important thing you need to bear attention: During installation choose 512MB RAM option. Do NOT choose go/mobile option or your
Gateway P-7811FX laptop get black screen.
- Now reboot the machine using -v -f flags.
