Lenovo Thinkpad R61: Fixing Sound Problem on Windows Xp Installation
Do you find this error when you try installing Windows XP in your Lenovo ThinkPad R61 Notebooks? The Thinkpad R61 sound not working anymore but some case audio speaker can be listened in the headphone.
there’s two way that you can follow to fix sound problem in lenovo Thinkpad R61 Noteboooks:
a. Reinstall your audio driver, maybe the previous installation driver not correct or error.
b. Install the following driver (UAA High Definition Audio ):

I’ve just bought thinkpad R61, i installed windows xp sp3, then I downloaded all thinkpad drivers. When trying to instal audio drivers I got an information “the hda audio bus driver is required and not found” and the instalation cannot be completed, I’ve tried installing UAA driver but the wizard said that the installed version of uaa is newer
How can I solve this problem :/
