Installing Ericsson F3507g on Lenovo Thinkpad X310 or T400
Tony has spend more than two days for unlocking Ericsson F3507g modem. The card is not locked just only for specific mobile network, instead lenovo software. This method succeed when it has been installed on Lenovo Thinkpad X310 or Thinkpad T400.
Here is short solution to solve this problem
- You may need watch this video. This video may will help you to solve modem problem on your Thinkpad. This video will show that the card will not working on Lenovo software but it will work on windows connection manager, especially when you’re using T-Mobile (When you’re in UK).

while LG update on the lg x110 netbook f3507g is broken. drivers are gone. I need them! Starting to get really angry!

i bought a lg x110 with installed OS windows XP home.
i installed as second OS windows vista, but i can not get ANY network adapter running!
the notebook has got a usual wired realtek network card rtl8101E, realtek WLAN rtl8187SE, toshiba bluetooth , ericsson umts/3G f3507g ; no one can be installed under windows vista!
First problem:
lg provides me only with win XP drivers , realtek provides only drivers for other cards , and ericsson doesn’t provide any drivers at all!
Second problem:
I found drivers for the wired network card rtl8101E for win Vista in the WWW.
But when i install it, win Vista just says: the best driver for the device is already installed (windows embedded driver)!
In the properties stands: the device can not be started.
Third problem:
If i uninstall the windows driver, the card leaves the device manager, so i need to klick the search button, and windows finds the network card and installs automatically it’s own driver, whitch doesn’t work!
Can anybody help me?

I have had similar problems with my LG – I always have network connectivity issues.

I just did the similar thing like you guys were doing,
I have X110 with 3.5G HSDPA (Sony Ericsson F3507G) working fine with XP.
When upgrade to Vista , none of communication adapter is working
The Wired LAN Adapter you may download from HP or IBM website for similar device, it will work. Thats why I can online now and reply this forum.
The same thing for Wireless LAN, you can download from HP website and install on your LG X110.
I am still stuck with the only hardware now (Sony Ericsson HSDPA F3507G)
If you manage to get the VISTA version of the driver for F3507G, pls share with me
