My friend has just bought Lenovo ThinkPad T42, after installing Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3). Actually he got all of drivers from official IBM Site, all of drivers can be installed properly into this machine except Wireless LAN.

This problem can be fixed by installing a WLAN drivers such as 1rwc89ww files and your problem will be fixed. Here is detailed drivers about WLAN Lenovo Thinkpad T42.

This driver also can be installed into Lenovo Thinkpad T40, T41, R50, R50, R51, X31 or even X40.
