Lenovo launches their 15.4 inch laptop, based on Intel Centrino 2 mobile, Lenovo Thinkpad W500 suitable enough for engineers that may need mobile workstation notebook.

Lenovo Thinkpad W500 laptop features Intel Core 2 Duo nanometer processor, 8GB of DDR3 memory, 512MB of ATI Fire GL M86-GL dedicated video card, 320GB of hard drive, Blu-Ray, optical drive, 802.11 a/g/n wireless connection, Gigabit ethernet LAN, optional mobile broadband also completed with GPS.

This laptop also support for 1920 x 1200 or 1680 by 1050 pixel display resolution. For security problem, Lenovo Thinkpad W500 will be completed with TPM v1.2 chip, full hard drive encryption, BIOS disable of all ports and optional fingerprint reader.

This Lenovo Thinkpad W500 will be available for $1,629 and it will be installed with Microsoft Windows Vista 32 bit.
