The one popular graphic chip maker NVidia doing great step by trying to gain their line of high-performance graphics processing units and the CUDA technology. This is great combination of the two solutions which has high opportunity increasing the application performances that rely on CPU performance. Through this combination then Nvidia has announced recently that their next graphic chip will be working with TopCoder. By provide this great chips performance, CUDA can be very competitive software development community.

The general manager of the CUDA group at NVIDIA, Sanford Russell said “PC architecture has evolved from central processing on just the CPU to co-processing on the CPU and the GPU. By tapping into the TopCoder community, we can educate over 200,000 programmers on the advantages parallel programming offers and fan the flames of the GPU Computing revolution.”

This can be a great challenge from CUDA technology to all eligible developers. It could be great as according to NVIDIA, the first
contest will begin on September 14 and will end on September 25. And the winner will take US$5,000 worth of prizes, which will be awarded to five contest winners.
