Installing Windows XP on HP DV6700 Notebooks

There is some simple tutorial about how-to installing Windows XP on HP DV6700 machine. You have to prepare nLite installation before downgrade your HP Dv6700 Notebooks. You may download it from nLiteOS.com.
After download and setup nLite, create folder that will be used by nLite for copy all necessary files for xp installation. Select “Drivers” button and click “Bootable ISO”. Click insert buttom , choose Single Driver, Choose iaahci and click next button.
Create ISO files and you can burn it into CD.
Note: Actually, you only need “Intel Matrix Storage Manager” driver to include it into nLite. The other can be installed after Windows XP installation.

i wish to installed win xp to my notebook pc hp pavillion dv6700..
is there a full version of win xp with sata driver?
b-coz i can not do the procedure u post…

i have a win xp cd but it alwys says that no hard drive found…
thats why i can`t installed win xp..

I have laptop hp pavilion dv 6700. i need to install win xp sp2/sp3 but hdd not found . How to resolve this problem.
I TALK TO CUSTOMER CARE IN HP. He told me this laptop is only for vista & not supporting win xp in hp helpdesk. Thy told me that uyou shuld try download sata driver & install it.

you have to download SATA Intel Ahci driver first and integrate it with Windows XP CD using NLite
