How To Install HP Photosmart C7280 on Windows 7
Just bought HP Photosmart C7280 printer, ones can’t install it on Windows 7 PC laptop. As the printer comes with the driver package, then he’s try to install All in One driver it has. The problem comes after he knows that the drivers only supports for XP and Vista OS. However, both of those supports unable install HP Photosmart C7280 All-in-One driver correctly. There is a message says ”your operating system doesn’t compatible with vista or XP.” So he wants to know, if there is the driver of HP All-in-One series C7280 for Windows 7.
If you have the XP or Vista drivers for HP Photosmart C7280, depending on which one you have, basically you will have to set the compatibility mode to correspond. In case this solution still can’t install HP All-in-One drivers, then try this following:
- Change the compatibility of the exe to “vista with service pack 2″
- Run the exe-program as administrator
- After the sub-directory at c:\program files\HP will be created you have to change the Security of this directory for group users to have all access.
