Fixing Wireless Problem on HP Pavilion DV6000

Somebody asked me about how to install wireless network driver on HP Pavilion DV6000. This problem occurs when HP Pavilion DV6000 has been downgraded to Microsoft Windows XP. He has tried install so many wireless drivers, flashing BIOS until ask technician, but the problem doesn’t resolve.
My friend tell me simple method and it work on HP Pavilion DV6000, follow this simple step:
- You have to turn off notebook and disconnect it from power AC or battery
- You have to unscrew L-shaped conpartment.
- Please locate broadcom wireless card and unscrew 2 retaining screws, wireless card presents itself to you once you have done this.
- Diconnect it by pulling out of slot
- Turn on your laptop, let it boot up and then turn it off.
- You have to reconnect wireless card and replace compartment cover.
- When you turn it on, Your windows will detect new hardware and automatically install driver. You may need to reboot your DV6000 laptop.

I tried this but it didn’t seem to work. Maybe I should try uninstalling the wireless driver that I already installed from hp..
