Fixing HP Pavilion in the Firefox (Volume Slider Button Freezes)
When you’re using touch sensitive on you HP Pavilion notebooks, you will find your volume bars or even firefox freezes. But follow this simple step for fixing this error messages: Go to Start button -> Type RUN in the search box -> Type MSCONFIG -> OK -> Continue -> Go to Startup Tab in the System Configuration -> You have to uncheck “HP Quicktouch On Screen Display Item” -> Restart Your computer.
this simple method will disable the on screen display of the volume control. You’ll can work but there is no annoying bar.

I just bought a dv4, and I am searching for the “HP Quicktouch” thing under that Startup tab, but the only things that I think might be it are “Hp Quicklaunch buttons”, or “hpwuschd application” or “hpqSRmon application”. Any ideas? Other than that, there is nothing else that just directly states “HP Quicktouch On Screen display”.
