If you want to downgrade Vaio VGN-NR160E follow this simple instruction:
You have to slipstream SATA driver (can be downloaded from here) into your Windows XP CD. You can use nLite to integrate it. Setup and run nLite, Go To “Add Single Driver” and locate “iaahci.inf”and select Text-Mode Driver. You have to pick “Intel(R) 82801HEM/HBM SATA AHCI Controller” and burn it. You can boot using this CD and install XP.
