Microphone doesn’t work on Compaq Presario F700

Bill has just reported that he has just bought a new Compaq Presario F700 Laptops. He runs Windows XP SP 2 on as OS, but after i check it, this notebooks looks has just downgrade it (from Vista). He tries fixing this problem by checking speaker icon in the right of taskbar or even checked microphone function in the Control Panel, but the error is still happen.
Finally, I check this conexant HD Audio drivers that work on Compaq Presario F700 Notebooks. I update this conexant drivers through device manager and finally sound and microphone works…

But i really face a problem again, it is saying that
It fails to install the device because it can’t find the media device for this drive.
Help please
