ASUS M50VM notebooks comes with two different model, ASUS M50VM-A1 and ASUS M50VM-B1. M50VM-A1 comes with 2.26 Ghz of CPU P8400 and in the other hand M50VM-B1 comes with 2.53 Ghz of CPU T9400. Both of laptop feature 15.4-inch WXGA that support for 1440×900 pixel resolution, 1GB of GeForce 9600M GS VRAM DDR2, 4GB of memory DDR2 RAM, 320GB of SATA 5400 rpm, Atheros AR928X Wireless Network Adapter, 1.3 MP webcam, DVD RW Super multi and fingerprint scanner.
ASUS M50VM-A1 will be available for $1299 and M50VM-B1 will comes for $1449.

For anyone getting a blue screen of death on the M50VM-A1 during Windows Setup initialization, simply go into the BIOS settings pressing F2 on startup and change the SATA operation mode to compatible. This will make sure XP can install on your SATA drive.
