Fixing Blue Screen on Portege R500 When Install XP
If you need install xp into Toshiba Portege R500, you found some error problem such as Blue Screen. Actually this error can be resolved by installing Storage manager through F6 option in the XP startup. Because of this notebook doesn’t come with floppy, you may need an external floppy.
But don’t worry, here is short description how to fix the problem. Go to BIOS setup by pressing F12 or F21, locate BIOS setu defaults / safe settings. Save changes and restart. Trying install XP into this laptop. If you do not external drive, you may can slipstream storage Driver from Intel with Windows XP using NLITEOS.
