every body who wants to downgrade from vista to xp, you actually dun have to do that Nlite shit things. It is jus wasting your times. You just have to change the hard disk type at the bios setting. Once you’ve done that, you can just simply install xp on your dell 1420 as usual. hope this can help tq. I’m from malaysia =)

problem is that i can’t access my bluetooth..
while installing driver i t disply Fn+F2….
itried but not get stated yet as i on my radiobutton is on at installation time also

If you already install XP to inspiron 1420, and already install all driver that suggested from this site, and still have a problem, means that you install XP SP3. means that the suggestion is only for XP SP2.

the audio will not work. and only state PCI at device manager. for this problem, download ftp://ftp.dell.com/audio/R108276.EXE
and install. it will fix your problem.

But if you want the full driver list for installing XP to dell inspiron 1420, please download the driver hereunder. (please install as the number)
