Install Windows 7 into Dell Inspiron 1501
Bought Dell Inspiron 1501 a few years ago, the laptop comes with Windows XP Home. It user then upgrades XP to Vista Basic 32 bit. To make all unknown devices recognized well, he is try to download but acquire a key for Windows 7 64 bit, so it was unable to install from the OS.
Probably you’ve heard some rumors about Inspiron 1501 could only upgrade to Windows 7 beta. Those are not true. Actually, you can upgrade it well by boot Inspiron 1501 from the DVD using Windows 7 .ISO. Once burned Win 7 .iso file to a DVD disc, it would able to boot and run a clean install.
Whenever you try to run a newer version OS install from within the OS and not from a boot disc it will upgrade. Nevertheless, here you need wipe and reformat the HD first to make it able to do clean install perfectly. This will also remarkably fast installation Vista Basic 32 bit to Inspiron 1501.
