Fixing Blue Screen on Dell E6400
As the Dell E6400 laptop comes with no operating system installed then ones installing Windows Vista on it. At the first run his computer works properly and running Vista well. Until then his E6400 get BSOD Blue Screen Of Death) of 0×0000000A and he can do anything to get rid of it except fresh install and installing all the drivers. The problem was after it all finished, there is left over with a 5880 in the device manager:
Hardware ID:
USB\VID_0A5C&PID_5801&REV_0101
USB\VID_0A5C&PID_5801
Watching the message above sounds like the E6400 getting a trouble to recognize one or some devices which plugged in like Blue Tooth, finger driver, etc. First of all if you are reinstalling the operating system it’s important the software be installed first then install Intel chipset, NVidia, and other kinds of device.
If you’re already done, you need to check the ControlPoint Security Manager Driver. There you can try the custom install and select each drivers except Fingerprint reader.
