Fix Eject Button Problem on Dell Studio 15
Just getting Dell Studio 15, it user then format the HD and start from scratch to make his Studio 15 has a clean start to life. Regardless of the fresh OS install, he’s got the eject button problem and no response from any of the capacitive buttons. He’s already try using FN+F10 key to perform an eject operation, but the capacitive buttons are not responsive. You can also put a layer of foam tape on the underside of the media panel, under the buttons, and affixed a layer of aluminum foil to that. And then you need to run the media ribbon cable underneath all that. Through this trick you even didn’t reroute the cable at all, as there’s just a layer of foam and foil between the cable and touch panel buttons now.
Sometimes the problem of eject button at Dell Studio 15 can fix well by boot and shut down the laptop machine in about 5 times without discharging the capacitors via the power button.
