Like other users who have upgrade Vista to Windows 7, he was worried about the drivers. Moreover he’s previous OS was Vista 32 bit so he thought as now the laptop running Win7 64 bit OS the disks that originally came with Studio 1537 might won’t be of any use. Then he wants to know how to get the Dell backup software installed, Dell fingerprint reader drivers, Dell webcam software program, and other download drivers for Studio 1537.
First off, the Dell Studio 1537 usually shipped with a CD drivers including CD for the fingerprint utility when you got it. As to the fingerprint software, you can use the software on that CD. The most people failed and have the software not working properly probably cause of they didn’t run Setup in Administrator mode. Try reinstalling the DigitalPersona fingerprint software by right clicking on the setup.exe and selecting “run as administrator.” You can use this method for all devices also.
