Dell Mini 10v: How To Install Mac Snow Leopard
Want to run Mac Snow Leopard on Dell Mini 10v, follow this simple guide. After partitioned the Windows XP hard drive he was able to boot Snow Leopard installation from USB and the installation began running smoothly. But it didn’t finish well. After around 5 minutes run, it stops and the message appears “You need to restart your computer. Hold down the Power button until it turns off, then press the Power button again.”

1. On a separate Mac restore snow leopard DVD onto USB via disk utility
2. Run netbookmaker and select the usb you restores sl to
3. Click make bootable usb
4. Take it out and plug it into Dell Mini 10v
5. Plug in USB to your netbook
6. Boot into it and in disk utility, partition your hard disk into to partitions, one for OS X and one for XP. Make sure XP as the second partition
7. Partition it as a Mac OSX journal
8. Click options and select guide
9. Format and click on the XP as the second partition
10. Select MS dos (fat) under the erase tab then erase the XP partition
11. Once you’re done with diskutil, now exit and continue with your OSX install on the first partition when it asks you
12. Reboot into the XP installation
13. Select XP to install on your 2nd partition
14. Select format as ntfs and continue (quick)
15. Now you can continue with that install
After all has done it should only boot into XP. Now you are ready to install into Mac OSX Snow Leopard on Dell Mini 10v Netbook.
