Comparing Dell Studio 17 with Sony Vaio FW

Dell Studio 17 is a decent laptop with good design and has the similar screen like Vaio FW. About the touch pad some users said they’ve found it hard to use. Besides Dell Studio are not too stable and aren’t built as well as Sony Vaio FW.
Sony Vaio FW is the one incredibly fast and reliable laptop. Most Vaio FW users have been pleased with the laptop performance. One user said he has no crashes while running Photoshop, Flickr upload, download Warhammer Online from fileplanet with 10 GB file, online browsing with Firefox. His Sony Vaio FW had crashes once while he’s running many applications on low battery and then Photoshop going flipped out and crashed everything but not Windows.
Some said Sony Vaio has a tunnel effect with its backlight and it looks ugly when watch videos. But most others have no issues with that at all. That’s great watching Netflix, play Warhammer online, watching some of my Full Metal Panic DVDs on it. All of back lit well is with no tunnel effect.
However those all really up to you, if you prefer the Dell Studio 17 design just go for it. But as the Sony Vaio FW runs incredibly well and it’s so fast you need to do more attention with it performance.
