The problems of installing display driver on Windows 7 64-bit often found at the Alienware M17 with dual 3870. Even by using modified drivers that provide through this forum still unable to fix the problem. Someone who trying the aforementioned methods having not good results at all. He’s already uninstall the drivers for the cards, reset the M17 machine and try to get into safe mode also. But that doesn’t seem to be work.

While boot the M17 back into the Windows it automatically re-installs the drivers for the graphics card. So he’s uninstall the previous drivers again, run drive sweeper, and then run the ATI catalyst install thing provided by e-wrecked. Thought it installs fine, but actually, the drivers were not installing correctly.

Technically, if want to resolve the problem of installing display driver on Windows 7, you need to use the have disk method. Another driver you can get here. Using this driver on Alienware m17 with Windows 7 RC1 64bit, all display driver issue should be fixing.
