How To Install XP into Gateway P-7811 Laptop
Follow this simple step for installing XP into Gateway P-7811FX:
a. Download nLiteOS here
b. After you’ve installed it , Click Next
c. Insert Windows XP CD into your PC Computer.
d. Browse and locate Your Optical Driver where your CD has been inserted it using Nlite.
e. Copying all of XP Driver into your hard drive
f. Download Intel F6 Matrix Drivers here, extract it.
g. Back to nLite, choose “Task Selection” => Integrate Drivers and click Next
h. Go To Insert Tab => Multiple Driver Folder, Browse your F6 SATA folder, click OK => choose the folder and Click OK.
i. nLite will report that “Storage Device Textmode driver”, and you may should choose all of listed controllers drivers (Hold Ctrl Button)=> Click OK.
j. After you click OK button, you’ll see 14 Intel Drivers (8.5.0.1032 version).
k. Click Next Button and Choose YES for starting the process.
l. You’ll notice 0.18mb of integrated drivers and 0.53m of Installation grey
m. Click Next and Finish.
You should run nLite software again and you should meet your xp folder was there. Choose Last Session => Next => Create Bootable ISO => next => Make ISO and save it into your hard drive (WinLite.iso) => done aqnd finish it. You may use cd burning software to burn the iso files. You’ve got the slipstream disk.
INSTALL WINDOWS XP. you may need download and install some importand xp driver for 7811 notebook below:
a. NVIDIA video graphics drivers 177.92 version here
b. Ethernet LAN Driver here
c. Intel Wireless WiFi Driver here
d. Intel Chipset Driver here
e. Synaptics Touchpad XP driver here
f. Chicony Webcam XP Driver here
g. Intel Matrix XP Driver here

i tried this procedure and all works fine, there is just one think missing the audio drive, I tried different drives ( conexant 221, IDT from gateway website ), but any drives works. do you know how to install the audio propely?

I haved already installed XP but something wrong with the VGA driver. I can not install it, there is a notification bar about The NVIDIA could not locate any driver that are compatible with your current hardware. Please help me to solve it. Thanks in advance
