How To Flash Acer Aspire One BIOS

- Download the latest BIOS Aspire One
- Put both FLASHIT.EXE and the BIOS file in the root directory of USB stick
- Rename the BIOS file to ZG5IA32.FD and please not to remove the USB stick yet.
- Switch the machine off; just make sure both battery and AC adapter are connected.
- Keep press Fn+Esc keys and press the power button to switch the AA1 on.
- Release Fn+Esc after a few seconds, the power button will be blinking.
- Press the power button once. This will makes AA1 initiate the BIOS flash, do not interrupt it until the power button will stop blinking, and the AA1 will reboot shortly after.
Now the Acer Aspire One BIOS should be flash and all settings reset to default. And the one important thing, If you made a mistake during the procedure and the AA1 not automatically reboot, better wait in about 5 minutes before turning the machine off. This is useful to be safe that it isn’t still flashing the BIOS.
