Fixing Blue-ray Disappear in Acer Laptop
Right after getting blue ray drive, someone put this device to the Acer laptop with Windows Vista operating system installed on it. After install require driver, he can’t found blue ray drive appears in the explorer.
If you have the similar blueray problem like above, you can try this following to fix it:
- Select Start and type regedit in the Start Search box.
- Select regedit in the Programs list.
- Locate and then Select the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
- Right-Select UpperFilters in the right pane and then Select Delete.
- Select Yes to confirm the removal of the UpperFilters registry entry
- Now right-Select LowerFilters in the right pane and then Select Delete.
- Select Yes to confirm the removal of the LowerFilters registry entry.
After did all of those following now you can exit from Registry Editor and then restart the computer. Now you can go to the Windows explorer again and there you should see the blue ray drive appears.
