Before installing XP into your notebooks, please make it sure that you’ve changed “SATA Mode”, go to BIOS (by pressing F2 button whe you restart your notebook), Go to Main and Choose “SATA mode”. You have to change it from AHCi model to IDE mode.

Despues de instalarle el Windows XP al acer aspire 4520, alguien a podido configura el BOTON de Activacion/desactivacion de la Wireless Lan (como funcionaba cuando tenia el Windows Vista).
Otra pregunta….existe el “Acer empowering technology framework” para windows XP??

G version(Acer Aspire 4520G) comes with 8400GS. Ordinary version comes with 7000M (4520)

my laptop acer aspire 4520 is format a new windows XP. the problem don’t have any drive software for install in my laptop. if you can help me, forward to me all installer to my email. hopefully you can help me. my laptop non available to Wireless Connection, no graphics software and LAN Connection. maybe it cause you’re using external video graphics card. Please chack it by running “dxdiag” into run command. Get the xp drivers from omegadrivers.net
